The Kenya National Library Services in Nairobi aims to support research for innovation and development while providing access to library services and information systems. It complements the existing network of facilities currently serving the masses. Designed by Aaki Consultants Architects and Urban Designers, the building can seat 5 000 readers at any given time and provide information for about 500 000. Saint-Gobain supplied Saint-Gobain Gyproc plasterboards for ceilings finished with RhinoLite decorative plaster. These lightweight, easy-to-install quality products complement the design aesthetic of the new building.
