The project involved delivering a UV stable, non chalking, high gloss finish floor using a twin application of Solidkote UVC. The process began with sanding the existing floor down by approximately 1 5 mm to ensure a smooth, clean surface. Solidkote UP Primer was then applied to enhance adhesion, followed by two coats of Solidkote UVC for a durable, high gloss finish that resists UV degradation Demarcation lines were added for clear visibility and functionality, and Solidjoint 525 was used to seal any joints, ensuring the floor’s integrity and seamless appearance.

Project Challenges:

Challenge 1- Ensuring a smooth, flawless high gloss finish with two coats
of Solidkote UVC required precise application to avoid streaks or
imperfections

Challenge 2- Applying clean and precise demarcation lines while
maintaining the high gloss surface without disruptions or smudges was a
technical challenge

Challenge 3- Sanding the floor evenly to the required depth of 1 5 mm
without damaging the substrate or creating uneven areas was critical for
proper coating adhesion
