Gamsberg Mine's Sustainable Water Solutions

For its first mine project in South Africa, Pam Pipes supplied 29.5 km of 500mm diameter ductile pipe to run from the Orange River to the Gamsberg mine in South Africa’s Northern Cape province.

Located in the picturesque Northern Cape Province of South Africa, Gamsberg Mine is a prominent mining operation that has gained substantial recognition in the region. Situated in close proximity to the town of Aggeneys, the mine primarily focuses on zinc ore extraction and has experienced significant growth and development over the years. However, with this expansion came the pressing need for a reliable and efficient water supply system to sustain its operations and ensure minimal impact on the local ecosystem.
