ROCKEFELLER HOTEL IN CAPE TOWN CONVERTS TO FULL GYPROC DRYWALL SYSTEMS

Construction of The Rockefeller project in Cape Town was just about near completion, (with brickwork & SG Ceilings) when Saint-Gobain came onboard to supply drywall. As these products are lighter than those originally chosen, this conversion saved the Developer time while providing superior acoustics and structural savings
For the Rockefeller building complex, we thus provided nearly 50,000 square meters of solutions, including Saint-Gobain Gyproc plasterboard and ISOVER glass wool for drywall insulation. These products were chosen for their proven quality and Saint-Gobain Gyproc's 10-year "SpecSure" warranty. It was also the availability of our teams and our expertise made available during site visits that convinced the developer.
The top floors of the Rockefeller are still under construction and should be ready in July.
